Jon Lieber attended Iowa Western Community College in 1989 and 1990 before transferring to the University of South Alabama, helping them win the Sun Belt Conference Championship. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the second round of the 1992 Major League Baseball Draft and he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates the following season. He made his debut in 1994 and was named the Pirates' Opening Day starter in 1995. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs following the 1998 season. In 2000, he led the National League with 251 innings pitched. He was a 20 game winner in 2001, with a record of 20-6. After rehabbing from Tommy John surgery in 2002 and 2003, he returned to the Big Leagues with the New York Yankees with a 14 win season. Jon signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2005 posting a 17 win season and finished his career back with the Chicago Cubs.
Josh Patrick played high school baseball at McGill-Toolen. He went on to play college baseball at Bishop State Community College and the University of South Alabama. After college he began coaching youth baseball. He has been coaching in Dixie Youth league for 20 years and travel ball teams for 10 years. His teams have won two Dixie Youth State championships and made two Dixie Youth World Series appearances. He is a certified USA Baseball instructor as well as a Driveline Certified instructor.

Ryan Lott comes to DSB as a pitching instructor with 18 years of High School Coaching Experience. During his time in high school coaching, Coach Lott has aided in the development of numerous Junior College, DI, and Professional Players. Coach Lott has had the privilege of Coaching numerous college pitchers with 2 of his players reaching the MLB. In the last 6 years as Pitching Coordinator for a High School Program, Coach Lott was able to develop throwing programs, recovery programs, and rehab programs for 7th-12th graders. During this time, there were 6 Division 1 Pitchers, 4 Junior College Pitchers, with 1 developing into an MLB reliever after a stellar career in the SEC.
Travis Granberry attended Monroe County High School in Monroeville, Al. He then earned a scholarship to Alabama Southern Community College. From there he attended Louisiana Tech University and finished at AUM in Montgomery. After his playing career Travis joined the Marine Corps and
completed two tours in Afghanistan as a Machinegun Squad Leader. After his time in the Marines, Travis coached at Prattville High School and Northview High School as the hitting coach. Travis has coached at various levels including high school and 12-year-old travel ball. Travis has also worked as a scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. During his time coaching he has had the privilege to work with numerous talented ball players and helped develop many that moved on to the collegiate level and a few that were drafted. Travis’s expertise is developing hitters and pitchers but has experience with all positions and skill levels.
